ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ali Thurm was born and brought up in the north of England but has lived in west London since she left university. After balancing a career in primary teaching with bringing up three children and writing part time, she was taken on by the literary agent Emily Sweet Associates in 2016. Under a previous title, One Scheme of Happiness was shortlisted for the First Novel Award (Daniel Goldsmiths) in 2017 and the Cinnamon Press Debut Novel award in 2018. It is her first novel.
