The results are in for the June Micro Flash competition… Thank you to everyone who entered, and voted; we had a whopping 465 votes this month.  And thanks again to Gill Mann for providing this month’s prompt. Gill Mann’s beautiful memoir, A Song Inside, is due to be published on 22nd July by Retreat West Books.

As usual, the quality of submissions was very high — so massive congratulations to our winner and runner up:

Winner: Beyond the Line by Kristen Loesch

Author bio: Kristen Loesch is an Asian-American writer and aspiring novelist.

First runner up: Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results by Sarah Stretton

Author bio: Sarah Stretton writes flash fiction, short stories and poetry. She has been published in Oxford Poetry journal, Popshot Quarterly and MIRonline and is the winner of the Saveas International Prose Prize 2019. She is currently finishing a part-time MA in Creative Writing at Oxford Brookes University.
